Phlebotomist (PRN)

What you'll do

• Check requisitions and computer orders for completeness
• greet and identify patients using at least two identifiers
• perform venipunctures and finger or heel sticks using aseptic technique
• collect non-blood specimens
• maintain specimen integrity and document collection times
• coordinate therapeutic drug-monitoring collections and special studies
• register patients, label and receive specimens, and respond to collection-related calls.
