Human Resources Business Partner

Job overview

The Human Resources Business Partner role is hybrid, with at least three full shift days each week at the National Support Center in Tampa, FL. Compensation is $80,000–$90,000 per year. American Veterinary Group supports veterinary hospitals and operational teams across assigned regions. This HR partner manages employee relations matters, investigations, leave and accommodation coordination, workers’ compensation, training, and employment compliance. The role works with Operations, HR leadership, Benefits, Payroll, Legal, and external partners to support fair and consistent practices and escalate complex or high-risk matters.

What you'll do

• Conduct and support workplace investigations
• advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
• coordinate leave, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work processes
• train and coach field leaders
• support employment-law compliance, audits, claims, and process improvements.
