The setter starts, operates, and performs Level 1 total productive maintenance on molding and assembly equipment, and packages components to company and customer specifications. The role supports consistent production quality through equipment setup, inspection, troubleshooting, documentation, and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Support operator level 1 and 2 responsibilities
• inspect products visually against production specifications
• maintain a clean workspace and 5S standards
• load validated master cycle parameters at injection molding startup
• load programs and align automated and robotic systems
• monitor machine operation and product quality
• troubleshoot small and mid-size process issues and escalate as needed
• respond to alarms and start or stop machines
• retrieve quality documentation
• perform line clearances, mold cleaning, mold pulling and setting, color changes, and material-lot changes
• complete traceability documentation and assembly startup batches
• perform Level 1 TPM on assembly, molding, and auxiliary equipment
• complete cycle checklists
• lock out/tag out unsafe equipment
• support lean initiatives, process improvements, ISO, health and safety, GMP, and standard work procedures.
