The Building Management System Controls Technician III role is field-based in the Umatilla, Oregon area, with the listing location in Seattle, WA. Compensation is $130,000–$160,000 per year in total cash, including base salary and potential bonus programs. The role supports data center projects and ongoing service needs in the Umatilla area. The technician independently installs, commissions, starts up, and troubleshoots PLC (SCADA) Ignition and/or Tridium Niagara control systems. The role helps keep projects on schedule and to quality standards, maintain system uptime, and build local technical capacity that reduces reliance on fly-in support.

What you'll do

• Install, commission, and start up PLC (SCADA) Ignition and/or Tridium Niagara control systems in data center environments
• diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network control issues
• perform point-to-point checkouts, calibration, and system validation
• deliver project scope to schedule and quality requirements
• complete commissioning and service documentation
• coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams
• own post-commissioning service and troubleshooting
• set field execution standards
• mentor junior technicians and enforce consistent practices when applicable.
