What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable database solutions
• install, configure, and upgrade database software and tooling
• monitor performance and optimize queries, indexes, and schemas
• implement database security controls
• collaborate with application developers on schema design and SQL
• troubleshoot incidents
• document architecture, configuration, and runbooks
• perform capacity planning
• manage and support AWS database infrastructure such as RDS, Aurora, and Redshift.
