Engineering Technician – Level III

The Engineering Technician – Level III role is onsite in Louisville, CO, with stated compensation of $70,000–$90,000 per year. The technician assembles and inspects optical, mechanical, and electrical products, owns assigned builds through handoff, and troubleshoots production issues. The role helps engineering and production teams create repeatable build methods while maintaining product quality, documentation, and safe work practices.

What you'll do

• Perform complex assembly using work instructions, drawings, models, and schematics
• own builds from kit readiness through inspection, test support, documentation, and handoff
• escalate incomplete documentation
• work with engineering to develop repeatable methods, fixtures, instructions, and inspection criteria
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• inspect workmanship and documentation
• troubleshoot assembly, inspection, test, tooling, and process issues
• support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• mentor and train less-experienced technicians
• provide feedback to improve repeatability.
