Research Associate I, Biologics Formulation and Process Development

Job overview

Compensation is $38–$40 per hour. The Research Associate I role is onsite five days per week in Foster City, CA. The position supports the Biologics Pre-Pivotal Formulation and Process Development team. The associate plans and executes experiments that advance formulation and drug-product process development for innovative molecules, supporting toxicology and early clinical-stage studies. The role contributes by generating, documenting, analyzing, and communicating experimental data and by supporting laboratory safety and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute experiments for molecular assessment, First-in-Human formulation development, drug-product manufacturing process development, and clinical in-use evaluations
• operate scientific equipment such as HPLCs, UV-Vis, CE-SDS, and ICIEF
• document, analyze, interpret, and present data
• identify and report inconsistent results
• participate in group meetings and team initiatives.

Why this role

Requires an MS in a related scientific field with zero years of experience or a BS with two years of industrial biologics CMC development experience; hands-on biologics experience strongly preferred.
