The Automotive Mechanic (Mobile) role is an onsite position based in Fayetteville, NC. Compensation is up to $23.00 per hour, and this role supports the maintenance and repair of light-duty trucks within the Torque by Ryder fleet. This role exists to provide mobile maintenance support, ensuring the fleet remains operational through routine maintenance and basic diagnostics. The technician works independently and alongside senior staff to complete repairs and maintain accurate service records.

What you'll do

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance including, but not limited to: oil changes, tire rotations and replacements, fluid checks and top-offs, basic inspections
• Follow standard procedures to assist with basic diagnostics and identify common issues with guidance
• Work alongside and support a more senior-level technician in diagnosing issues and completing repairs
• Conduct general shop or field support activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Interact professionally with team members and customers
• Represent Torque/Ryder to establish customer relationships.
