Energy Management Field Technician

The Energy Management Field Technician role is full-time and onsite in Conroe, TX; compensation is not specified. The technician reports to the Energy Management Operations Manager and supports Sapphire Gas Solutions’ natural gas delivery projects across the United States. The role operates, installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and control systems used in natural gas storage and delivery. Safe, reliable field work and accurate documentation support LNG, CNG, field gas, process, and rotating equipment operations and customer service.

What you'll do

• Operate, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas storage and delivery equipment
• work with instrumentation, circuits, motor controls, PLC wiring, SCADA, and HMI systems
• calibrate sensors and control loops
• interpret technical diagrams
• document maintenance and daily activities
• train staff, contractors, and customers
• perform mechanical service
• move and operate equipment
• and follow safety procedures.

Why this role

Requires 2+ years of experience with electrical circuits and controls, process instrumentation and diagrams, and natural gas or related process equipment. Texas Railroad Commission LNG/CNG certification must be obtained.
