What you'll do

• Obtain referrals from primary care physicians and insurance companies before scheduled visits
• document authorizations in the system
• advise patients about potential authorization issues
• coordinate with Billing/Collections on previously denied claims
• work with the Benefit Verification Representative when benefit questions arise
• use insurer websites to obtain referrals and authorizations.
