The Extended School Year School Social Worker role is onsite in Bannockburn, IL. Compensation is up to $60 per hour, depending on qualifications, availability, and skills. The social worker provides direct services during the ESY program to support students’ social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. The role works with students, families, and the multidisciplinary school team to support progress in a structured learning environment.

What you'll do

• Provide direct social work services in accordance with IEP goals and ESY programming
• facilitate individual and small-group social-emotional sessions
• support emotional regulation, coping, peer interactions, and behavioral needs
• collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families
• participate in multidisciplinary meetings and assist with behavior intervention planning
• maintain service documentation and progress records
• provide crisis intervention as needed
• communicate with parents or guardians.
