The mentor provides one-on-one skills training based on participants’ individual goals. The role supports daily living, communication, self-regulation, and community inclusion while documenting participant progress.

What you'll do

• Assist participants with budgeting, meal planning, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• support socialization and communication skills and practice self-regulation techniques
• provide hands-on training, observation, and evaluation of household tasks
• advocate for community inclusion and participants’ rights
• log progress and performance in BuildAbility’s digital program.
