The Experienced Vehicle Mechanic, Level 2 or 3 role is onsite at Loveland Ski Area in Georgetown, CO. Pay is $27–$37 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The vehicle maintenance team supports mountain operations, guest access, and safety. The mechanic diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a diverse fleet, including buses, snowcats, heavy equipment, snowmobiles, ATVs/UTVs, trailers, and support vehicles. The role also supports equipment readiness through preventive maintenance, technical mentoring, documentation, and seasonal snow-removal operations.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, diesel, and emissions systems
• perform preventive maintenance and major repairs
• troubleshoot equipment failures
• mentor and train less experienced mechanics
• participate in early-morning snow stake assessments and operate snow-removal equipment as needed
• maintain work orders and maintenance records
• coordinate with vendors and repair facilities
• comply with applicable safety and emissions regulations.
