What you'll do

• Oversee daily feedyard operations
• manage feed procurement, availability, contracts, and costs
• monitor feed costs and P&L impact
• apply cattle nutrition and feedlot knowledge
• lead, supervise, and mentor employees
• set expectations and accountability
• address operational challenges and escalations
• use computer systems for procurement, contracts, records, and operations
• partner with ownership on performance and profitability.
