The Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Room role is onsite in Rapid City, SD. Pay is $55–$58 per hour. The nurse provides emergency care to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. The role supports emergency department care by rapidly triaging and assessing patients, initiating treatment protocols, and participating in resuscitation and other life-threatening emergency response. The nurse also prepares patients for admission, transfer, or discharge and provides related documentation and instructions.

What you'll do

• Perform triage assessments and assign acuity
• complete focused and ongoing assessments across age groups
• initiate emergency treatment protocols, including medication and IV therapy
• participate in resuscitation events involving cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma
• interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor for deterioration
• escalate concerns promptly
• document care and provide discharge or transfer instructions.
