The role works across hardware, software, radio-frequency, FPGA, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and production-test teams to take robust space communication systems from initial design through vehicle integration.

What you'll do

• Design high-speed digital hardware, including processors, FPGAs, memory, interfaces, and supporting circuitry
• analyze board architecture and component choices
• capture schematics and lay out space-grade PCBs
• bring up and test designs
• coordinate end-to-end design work with cross-functional teams
• address thermal dissipation
• work with supply chain on manufacturing and iteration
• design for space-grade acceptance, qualification, and compliance requirements.
