Acute Ultrasound Technologist — Diagnostic Imaging

The Acute Ultrasound Technologist role is onsite in Tucson, AZ. Pay is $65 to $68 per hour. The technologist performs imaging for acute and emergency patients. The role exists to produce high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images and support timely physician interpretation while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The technologist follows physician orders and established protocols, responds to urgent imaging requests, and documents examinations and relevant findings.

What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and protocols
• prepare and position patients
• operate ultrasound equipment and obtain diagnostic images
• recognize and document relevant anatomical findings for physician interpretation
• respond to urgent and emergency requests
• maintain patient safety, infection control, and equipment standards
• document examinations and patient records.
