What you'll do

• Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed estimates for larger, complex projects
• determine materials needed for estimates
• acquire and prequalify material and subcontractor proposals
• assist with estimate presentations, special studies, budget reports, and project documents
• develop deliverables, timelines, and success measures
• allocate resources and communicate progress
• delegate work and coach team members
• oversee redlining
• negotiate with vendors
• maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
