Licensed Tree Climber

Job overview

The Licensed Tree Climber role is onsite in Catonsville, MD; compensation is $20–$27 per hour. The climber works with Edwin’s Landscaping & Tree Experts on tree care and landscaping jobs in the Catonsville area. The role performs aerial pruning, trimming, and removals while assessing tree health and risk. It coordinates with the ground crew and follows safety standards to protect workers and property during tree work.

What you'll do

• Climb trees using proper rigging and rope techniques
• prune, trim, and remove trees
• operate chainsaws and cutting equipment at height
• assess tree health, structure, and risk
• maintain climbing and rigging equipment
• coordinate limb and debris removal with the ground crew
• follow OSHA regulations and job-site safety standards.
