Plant Operator

The Plant Operator position is onsite in Dumas, TX. Compensation is $27–$30 per hour. The role supports Specialty Herd Solutions’ dairy and animal-care products and equipment operations. The operator handles and processes liquid and dry chemical products while monitoring equipment, production schedules, quality, safety, and environmental requirements. This work helps ensure products are prepared and packaged to scheduled demand and established standards.

What you'll do

• Handle, transport, move, add, and mix liquid and dry hazardous chemicals
• load and unload equipment, tanks, trucks, and railcars
• operate packaging equipment
• review formulation orders and complete required paperwork
• ensure products meet quality and production standards
• monitor schedules
• inspect and repair equipment
• follow process safety and risk management requirements
• perform routine housekeeping and facility maintenance.
