The role connects hospital and facility staff with field operations, communications, and revenue cycle teams to help arrange appropriate, timely transportation and support smooth service delivery.
What you'll do
- Coordinate transportation and direct crews within hospitals
- serve as a contact for case management departments
- work with Communications to prioritize transport requests
- assist with discharges and interfacility transportation
- book patients in the CAD system
- coordinate clinical and billing documentation
- prepare run reports and demographic information
- and assist with service complaint investigations. The role has supervisory authority to issue discipline or commendations in specified cases.
