Purchasing Agent - International Procurement

The Purchasing Agent role is onsite in Fargo, ND. Compensation is not specified. The role helps coordinate international sourcing and purchasing, oversee inventory functions, and support collaboration across procurement, logistics, facilities, accounting, sales, and quality. Its work helps the company address customer needs and manage purchasing activities and risks.

What you'll do

• Lead the international desk
• work with sales and partner facilities to identify international partners
• research sourcing locations and partners
• identify and procure customer samples when necessary
• review purchasing contract balances and communicate risks to the Vice President of Procurement
• oversee the purchasing department’s inventory function
• prepare reports and presentations as requested
• coordinate special projects
• and support procurement and crop production colleagues.
