Senior Staff Accountant

What you'll do

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including complex journal entries, accruals, and deferrals
• maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
• reconcile balance-sheet accounts
• assist with internal and external reporting and audit preparation
• support internal controls and accounting policies
• analyze financial data and variances
• maintain the fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
• collaborate with departments on financial information and accounting inquiries
• may assist with revenue recognition, inventory, or payroll accounting.
