What you'll do

• Oversee kitchen operations and maintain a safe, sanitary work environment
• prepare or direct meal preparation
• plan regular and modified menus
• follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• complete production and waste logs
• train kitchen staff
• maintain cleaning and equipment schedules
• manage food and non-food inventory
• comply with health, sanitation, and safety requirements
• attend departmental meetings and staff development programs as appropriate.
