What you'll do

• Prospect for new business
• build relationships with local businesses, sports organizations, university contacts, event planners, and community groups
• conduct outside sales calls, meetings, networking, and hotel tours
• respond to leads, prepare proposals, negotiate rates within guidelines, and convert opportunities to bookings
• maintain account and sales records in CRM systems
• partner with the Director of Sales and/or General Manager on sales strategies
• track pipeline and performance
• represent the hotel in the community.
