The Lead Extra — Day Shift, 5 AM–5 PM position is onsite in Florence, KY. Compensation is not specified. Valto, Inc. produces fiber-reinforced polymer composite panels for building materials, recreational vehicles, and transportation. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the role serves as the primary backup to the Group Lead and provides operational support across wet-end production. It helps maintain safe, efficient, uninterrupted manufacturing by assisting with production changes and troubleshooting, training employees, and filling in across production positions as needed. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM.

What you'll do

• Back up the Group Lead and support daily operations
• assist with production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• fill in for Operator, Wet End Utility Operator, and Resin Mixer positions as needed
• collaborate with Maintenance, Technical, and Production teams to troubleshoot process, equipment, and production issues
• support employee training
• prepare equipment, materials, and process settings for production runs
• support housekeeping, TPM, and operational excellence initiatives.
