The Project Manager — Mission Critical role is hybrid, with three days per week onsite in the Kansas City metro, MO, and approximately 10% travel. The anticipated base salary is $100,000–$115,000 per year, plus a quarterly incentive bonus. The role supports a manufacturer’s growing data center and mission-critical customer base. The project manager owns customer projects from order acceptance through engineering, manufacturing, shipment, and closeout. By managing schedules, risks, approvals, and cross-functional coordination, the role helps protect committed delivery milestones and maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams.
What you'll do
- Own customer projects from sales handoff through closeout
- manage schedules, milestones, and critical-path activities
- identify and resolve scope gaps, drawing discrepancies, and risks
- move engineering submittals, RFIs, customer comments, and change orders to closure
- coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, shipping, finance, and construction
- provide status updates and manage concurrent projects.
