Estimating & Preconstruction Intern — Summer 2027

The Estimating & Preconstruction Intern role is onsite in Plano, TX, in the office four to five days per week, for Summer 2027 (May–August). Compensation is $17 to $22 per hour. The intern supports Sevan Multi-Site Solutions’ estimating and bid coordination teams, which contribute to multi-site construction projects. The intern assists with project document review, quantity take-offs, subcontractor outreach, and bid preparation under experienced estimators and bid coordinators. The work provides exposure to construction estimating, bidding platforms, and subcontractor relations.

What you'll do

• Review project documents and support bid preparation
• help distribute invitations to bid
• draft requests for information
• contact subcontractors and track bid coverage
• maintain solicitation lists and bid tools
• perform basic quantity take-offs
• research regional trade costs
• organize quotes
• assist with estimate sheets, proposals, and project documentation.
