Direct Support Professional / Personal Support Worker Caregiver

The Direct Support Professional / Personal Support Worker Caregiver role is onsite, with assignments across Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties in Oregon, matched near the employee’s home when possible. Compensation is $23 per hour for direct support professional supports and $25 per hour for ODDS job coaching supports. Oregon Provider is a locally owned, family-run Medicaid agency supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The caregiver provides personalized in-home and community support that helps clients pursue individual goals and live self-directed lives. The role assists with daily living, life skills, appointments, communication, and community participation while protecting each client’s safety, comfort, and dignity.

What you'll do

• Provide in-home support with daily living, personal care, and household tasks
• deliver life-skills training aligned with client goals
• support communication and social interaction
• provide medication reminders and administration according to care plans
• coordinate and accompany clients to appointments
• provide transportation, shopping assistance, and advocacy
• support community inclusion and access to resources, employment, and education
• maintain safety, comfort, and dignity.
