The Public Works Crew Leader works onsite in Allen, TX. Pay is $22–$36 per hour. The role leads municipal infrastructure and facilities work for the City of Lucas, including water, wastewater, streets, drainage, and parks facilities. What you'll do

• Manage, coordinate, and evaluate Public Works Specialists’ work
• assist with short- and long-range planning
• prioritize infrastructure repair and replacement needs
• advise staff on policies, methods, and materials
• prepare reports and maintain budgets
• recommend purchases
• confer with the Public Works Director on infrastructure projects
• ensure compliance with city policies and ordinances
• supervise infrastructure maintenance and repairs
• maintain logs and safety practices
• draw water samples
• oversee preventive maintenance checks.

Why this role

Requires at least four years of utilities department operations and maintenance experience. A Class C Water License and Wastewater License may be obtained within 12 months; a valid Texas driver license is required or must be obtained within 12 months. CDL preferred.
