The Controller role is onsite at the company headquarters in Armada, MI. Compensation is not specified. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller leads financial reporting and accounting operations, strengthens controls and processes, and provides analysis to support executive decisions and company growth. The role oversees accounting across sales channels and related entities while developing the accounting team and scalable financial operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• safeguard company assets through audits and controls
• prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and own close processes
• oversee accounting across sales channels, inventory valuation, landed cost, COGS, and margins
• partner on cash flow, forecasting, working capital, budgeting, and capital requests
• manage multi-entity accounting and consolidation
• oversee revenue recognition, reconciliations, receivables, and collections
• maintain ERP financial data and improve accounting workflows
• administer payroll, benefits, and 401(k) accounting
• coordinate external reviews, audits, and tax filings
• manage accounting staff and provide financial analysis and reporting.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration and 5+ years of controller experience; CPA or CMA is preferred. Monday–Friday availability between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; occasional evening and Saturday hours may be required.
