The Cheese Plant Operator works onsite in Luxemburg, WI, on a 2/2/3 night schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Starting pay is $27.56 per hour, with a $1.50-per-hour night-shift differential. The operator runs and monitors brine-room and cheese-processing equipment, prepares equipment and recipes for production, and checks cheese condition and process records. Cleaning and maintaining equipment supports safe, consistent production and product quality.

What you'll do

• Operate and understand brine-room, cooker, salter, RMC, and PLC controls
• perform cleaning-in-place procedures
• fill brine cages and record vats
• prepare pipes, fittings, equipment, and recipes for production
• record cheese pH
• monitor cheese as it exits the cooker
• clean equipment and work areas, wash parts, and replace gaskets as needed.
