Intake Coordinator / Behavioral Health Technician — 2nd Shift

The Intake Coordinator / Behavioral Health Technician role is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN, with a Monday–Friday second shift from 4 p.m. to midnight. Pay is $22 per hour. Strive Recovery provides behavioral health and addiction services using a compassionate, evidence-based approach. The role coordinates accurate, compassionate admissions while also providing direct observation and support to clients receiving behavioral health or substance use treatment. Combining intake coordination with client supervision helps maintain a safe, structured treatment environment and supports continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Coordinate admissions and intake
• respond to referrals
• gather demographic, insurance, medical, behavioral health, and psychosocial information
• complete documentation and verify benefits
• schedule admissions and services
• review program expectations and consent forms
• communicate intake information to care teams
• protect confidentiality
• coordinate with referral sources
• escalate urgent concerns
• assist with discharge and transfers
• observe and support clients, document rounds and progress, use approved de-escalation techniques, and support treatment plans.
