Material Handler Lead

The Material Handler Lead role is onsite in Hopkins, MN. Compensation is $28–$32 per hour. The role supports Veolia’s Water Technology Business, which works on water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy challenges. The lead guides hourly employees and performs material-handling work while helping meet production goals, safety requirements, and quality standards. Scheduling floor work, training team members, coordinating materials, and escalating issues support consistent production operations.

What you'll do

• Observe EHS rules and participate in meetings, investigations, and audits
• schedule floor personnel and assign work
• support cycle counting and material ordering
• perform Material Handler assignments
• train new and existing team members
• review orders and implement schedules
• ensure raw materials are ordered on time
• coordinate training and audits
• update documentation
• escalate equipment and personnel issues
• facilitate daily department meetings
• follow up on critical orders
• screen time-off requests
• provide performance-review input.
