This position performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies. The MRI Technologist presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist to ensure a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to the referring physician. They compassionately assist and position patients, start IVs for contrast injection when necessary, and assess image quality. This role is vital for providing advanced diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care within the MRI department. The technologist's expertise contributes directly to accurate diagnoses and effective patient treatment.

What you'll do

• The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
• The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
• You will compassionately assist and position patients.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
