The engineer supports scaling the thermal battery by contributing to electrical system design, modeling, integration, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning. The role works with the engineering team and reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer; travel is 50% for project installation and commissioning support.

What you'll do

• Assist with electrical power and control system design
• develop and maintain circuit models
• build a CAD framework and models for the commercial system
• coordinate and integrate subsystems with cross-functional teams
• document specifications, models, simulations, and test reports
• provide project updates
• support functional testing of electrical equipment, instrumentation, PLC I/O, and control systems
• troubleshoot during and after installation, commissioning, and integration
• lead field activities related to electrical system installation and commissioning.
