Veterinary Technician - Emergency - Mid-Shift in Lansdale, PA. This is an onsite, full-time position with a salary of $22.50/hour plus a 15% shift differential. Metropolitan Veterinary Associates is a leading specialty and emergency hospital. This role is on the front line of urgent patient care, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to triage incoming patients, provide immediate critical care, and collaborate with emergency veterinarians.

What you'll do

• Triage incoming patients by assessing their medical needs and prioritizing treatments based on urgency
• Provide immediate critical care administer fluids, medications, and other life-saving interventions while closely monitoring patient status
• Collaborate with emergency veterinarians and fellow technicians to devise and execute treatment plans for a variety of acute and complex cases
• Communicate compassionately with pet parents, offering clear updates, reassurance, and empathy during stressful moments
• Maintain a calm, organized workspace and ensure rapid access to the supplies and equipment needed for emergency interventions
• Participate in ongoing training and case discussions, sharpening your skills and staying current with the latest emergency protocols and best practices.
