Job overview

The Lead Community Guide – Community Day Program role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with work locations in North Hollywood and Sylmar. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $22–$26 per hour. BuildAbility’s community-based day program supports adults with developmental disabilities through pre-vocational skills, public transportation safety, social skills, and exploration of individual interests. The lead supports daily program operations, coordinates staff and participant schedules, and helps tailor support to individual service plan goals. The role also guides curriculum and activities, supports participants in community settings, documents progress, and mentors new team members.

What you'll do

  • Assist program leadership with day-to-day Quest program operations
  • collaborate on individualized support approaches and ISP goals
  • coordinate staff and participant schedules
  • guide curriculum and activity planning
  • support community participation and public transportation safety
  • record required case documentation in the EVV system
  • mentor and train new Community Team Members.
