• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct day-to-day nursing department functions in accordance with applicable rules and guidelines
• participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written department policies and procedures
• ensure nurse-station reference materials are current
• recommend materials that help the department meet residents’ day-to-day needs.
