What you'll do

- perform emergency and scheduled repairs
- use mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- read equipment manuals and work orders
- diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, test, and adjust equipment
- perform preventive maintenance
- complete plumbing and carpentry maintenance
- use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment
- report faulty operations, defective material, and unusual situations to the maintenance manager
- follow safety regulations and maintain clean work areas. The listed second-shift schedule is Sunday–Wednesday, 2 p.m.–12:30 a.m., four 10-hour shifts
- a third-shift option is also described as Sunday–Wednesday, 9:30 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Some first-shift training may occur.
