Overnight Caregiver – 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

The Overnight Caregiver role is onsite in Metairie, LA, with compensation of $13.00–$15.00 per hour. Right at Home provides in-home care and assistance to help people remain comfortable in their homes. The caregiver supports clients with daily living and patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse. The work helps clients with personal care, mobility, meals, transportation, and other listed care needs during overnight shifts.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal hygiene, ambulation and transfers, dressing and shaving
• prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• accompany clients on errands or medical appointments and provide transportation
• perform patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse, which may include hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range-of-motion exercises, blood glucose monitoring, bed-bound patient care, incontinence care, and use of gait belts or Hoyer lifts.
