The Building Maintenance Mechanic I–III role is onsite in Stillwater, OK, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hiring range is $16–$25 per hour, contingent on available funding. The position supports OSU-Stillwater Facilities Management in maintaining campus buildings and equipment. The mechanic inspects building conditions and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, and sump pumps. The work helps keep campus facilities and equipment operational, with emergency response and other maintenance or renovation tasks as needed.

What you'll do

• Inspect buildings and installed equipment
• inspect, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, and sump pumps
• perform water-heater inspections
• assist with light carpentry, painting, electrical, and miscellaneous repairs and renovations
• respond to emergency and urgent work
• perform snow and ice removal when scheduled.
