Accounts Payable Clerk

Job overview

The Accounts Payable Clerk works onsite in Ypsilanti, MI, for $20–$23 per hour. FSS Technologies provides life-safety and electronic security solutions to help businesses protect people and property. The role owns the front end of the payables process by setting up vendors, entering and coding invoices, verifying documentation, matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving records, and resolving discrepancies. It maintains auditable records and supports reconciliations and period-end close; payment release is handled by separate authorized personnel.

What you'll do

• Set up and maintain vendor records in NetSuite
• collect and verify W-9s and compliance documents
• enter and code invoices
• match invoices to purchase orders and receiving records
• route invoices for approval
• reconcile vendor statements
• respond to inquiries
• support month- and year-end close and 1099 preparation
• maintain records and follow internal controls.
