Maintenance Technician – 3 PM–11 PM

The Maintenance Technician – 3 PM–11 PM role is full-time and onsite in Buffalo, NY, at Reikart House in Amherst. Pay is $22–$28 per hour. The Maintenance Team supports the hotel’s guest experience by keeping rooms, systems, and shared spaces operating and well maintained. The technician completes repairs and preventive maintenance, responds to guest requests, and identifies issues before they affect guests. The role works with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other departments to support safe, reliable hotel operations.

What you'll do

• Complete guest room repairs and preventive maintenance
• respond promptly to guest maintenance requests
• troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, appliances, doors, locks, furniture, and building systems
• assist with seasonal upkeep, pools, mechanical equipment, boilers, and life safety systems as needed
• complete work orders
• maintain organized maintenance areas
• assist with painting, drywall, carpentry, and cosmetic improvements
• follow OSHA, safety, and hotel procedures
• coordinate with other departments.
