Director of Acquisitions & New Market Strategy

Job overview

The Director of Acquisitions & New Market Strategy role is based in Phoenix, AZ, with a preferred home base in Arizona, Nevada, California, or other Western states; regular travel to prospective markets is expected. The director identifies and evaluates markets and acquisition opportunities, builds relationships with veterinary practice owners, and supports transactions from initial discussions through due diligence and transition. The role partners with executive, finance, legal, operations, and growth teams to guide expansion decisions.

What you'll do

• Identify and evaluate high-growth markets and potential veterinary practice acquisitions
• build relationships with practice owners and prospective partners
• analyze local markets, competition, and development opportunities
• support acquisitions from initial conversations and letters of intent through due diligence and transition
• partner with executive leadership, finance, legal, operations, and growth teams
• travel to prospective markets to meet owners and evaluate opportunities.
