MRI Technologist

Job overview

The MRI Technologist role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH, on a 13-week contract with potential extension. The schedule is Monday–Friday, rotating weekly between 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Local compensation is $65–$70 per hour based on experience; traveling-candidate compensation is $2,600–$2,800 per week based on experience. The technologist produces diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.

What you'll do

• Prepare and screen patients for MRI procedures
• review histories, orders, medications, allergies, and questionnaires
• position patients and operate MRI scanners according to protocol
• archive procedures and produce quality diagnostic images
• administer contrast media and medications according to protocol or physician direction
• follow MRI and patient safety procedures
• respond to equipment or patient emergencies
• assist coworkers in other modalities as appropriate.
