What you'll do

• Assist experienced machinists with machining, fabrication, and repair
• prepare materials, tools, and equipment
• learn to operate manual lathes, mills, and drill presses
• measure, inspect, and document parts under guidance
• read blueprints and work instructions
• assist with repair and refurbishment of rotating equipment components
• handle materials, organize tools, and maintain the work area
• follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
