Laundry Custodian

The Laundry Custodian role is onsite in Mescalero, NM. Compensation is $15 per hour. The position supports laundry operations at Inn of the Mountain Gods. The role maintains clean, safe, and functional laundry equipment and work areas while processing linens and clothing. It also supports housekeeping and laundry staff, records activity and maintenance issues, and reports equipment problems to management.

What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize washers and dryers
• clean lint filters, traps, and drains
• perform weekly cleaning of the laundry area and equipment
• load and unload laundry and sort items
• operate equipment using approved chemicals
• keep the workspace organized
• record laundry activity and equipment use
• report maintenance issues
• iron and fold linens
• remove trash
• assist housekeeping or laundry staff as needed.
