The Oral Surgeon role is onsite in Kailua-Kona, HI, with availability in Hilo and Kona. Pay is $255,000–$345,000 per year. Under the Dental Director’s guidance, the surgeon diagnoses and treats patients, performs dental procedures and oral surgeries, and provides preoperative and postoperative care. The role also supports emergency dental needs, staff education, and the health center’s mission and goals.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and manage emergency dental problems
• perform dental procedures within facility capabilities and granted privileges
• provide preoperative and postoperative care
• diagnose and treat oral diseases
• perform oral surgery and administer sedation as appropriate
• educate non-dental clinical staff
• maintain records and support administrative duties.
