Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) — Hospice

What you'll do

• Assess hospice patients’ physical and psychosocial needs
• follow care plans and report observations
• collaborate on nursing diagnoses and care-plan changes
• instruct and supervise hospice aides and LPN staff
• support access to equipment and supplies
• monitor and document symptoms, vital signs, interventions, treatments, and responses
• administer medications
• provide patient and family teaching
• coordinate services with the Nursing Supervisor and care team
• maintain infection control and confidentiality.
